Job Summary: The University of Alabama System is receiving applications for the position of Law Clerk. This position will be based in Tuscaloosa on the campus of The University of Alabama. This is a temporary position with full-time hours (40 per week) during Summer 2019 and part-time hours (15-20 per week) during Fall 2019 and Spring 2020.


REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong academic record as an undergraduate and law student, with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.0;
• Excellent legal research and analysis skills; and
• Strong written and oral communication skills.



RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING
• Legal research and writing;
• Legal analysis and review; and
• Preparation and coordination of litigation and administrative related documents.



Note to applicant: The hourly pay rate for this position if $12.50. This position is open to current 2L law students.
