The Instructional Designer I assists and supports the creation robust and interactive online courses for credit and non-credit courses through technical work under general supervision. Works one-on-one with faculty member to identify course learning objectives, teaching methodologies, assessment tools, and other parameters necessary for development of basic courses.

Serves as a key advisor to the Vice President for Research & Economic Development (VPRED) in driving effective business engagement, communication, and implementation of division initiatives and priorities to raise research and economic development visibility and enhance the UA research reputation with an initial critical focus on High Performance Computing (HPC) and the Alabama Cyber Institute (ACI). Facilitates business engagement and research communication between the VPRED and external partners for purposes of developing strategy to identify, cultivate, and coordinate sponsored research opportunities, especially in terms of corporate engagement.

The Assistant Director of Tide Pride Annual Giving generates annual giving revenue for Tide Pride and the Crimson Tide Foundation.
AMSTI Materials Worker - 527834
The AMSTI Materials Worker assists with the daily operation of the materials center. Constructs and refurbishes science and math teaching kits per the specifications of AMSTI-UA and AMSTI-SDE. Assists with inventory control through stocking kits and kit supplies, maintaining stock, and rotating stock. Assists with and maintains the organization of the materials center to ensure efficient use of space and safe storage of materials. Maintains a safe work environment.
Postdoctoral Fellow - 527835
The Postdoctoral Fellow provides for an internship and continuation of scholarly activity and research after achieving the PhD or other doctoral degree under the direction of a senior faculty member who serves as a mentor for the postdoctoral appointee.

Student Services Associate II - 527799
The Student Services Associate II provides moderately-complex administrative support to the Office of the University Registrar with particular emphasis on the use of technology in providing service to students and administrators. Assists with registration troubleshooting, batch updates, error resolution, and manual registration adjustments upon request as submitted by the colleges. Monitors the Registrar’s Inbox and directs inquiries appropriately. Facilitates all registration-related orientation activities. Evaluates and processes requests for Academic Bankruptcy, Academic Second Opportunity, and Medical Withdrawal.
Associate Director Law Library Public Services - 527800
The Associate Director of the Law Library Public Services oversees all law library public services initiatives, including reference and circulation operations. Serves as a member of the library administrative team. Manages and coordinates circulation and reference services within the Law Library. Establishes, executes, and regularly assesses library policies, procedures, and workflows. Provides exceptional reference services to students, faculty, staff, attorneys, and the public. Hires, trains, and supervises staff and student workers dedicated to circulation, course reserves, document delivery and interlibrary loan, outreach, and reference. Teaches or co-teaches legal research sessions and/or guest lectures within the law school. Assists with strategic planning and budgeting related to law library programs, initiatives, and services.
Academic Advisor I - 527807
The Academic Advisor I provides guidance to University students on academic progress, courses, University resources, etc. Identifies courses to be completed in upcoming semesters. Explains University and College policies. May teach compass course as needed.
