The IT Infrastructure Technician IV serves as a technical leader and mentor. Guides best practices in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber, network, and VoIP systems to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to University standards. Assists other team members in their support duties. Teaches new techniques. Researches and develops new technical skills. Provides expert-level knowledge of plant wiring to support infrastructure development and troubleshooting. Serves as the infrastructure project lead for initiatives of moderate- to high-complexity. Provides Fiber Plant documentation and design support, including maintaining and updating campus Fiber Plant CAD drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
