Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm


Job Summary: The Park Maintenance Lead coordinates on-site maintenance staff, equipment, and supplies to ensure proper maintenance of the grounds and physical facilities located at University owned parks and physical facilities.


Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of park maintenance, facilities, or grounds keeping experience.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.


Skills and Knowledge: Ability to operate equipment such as commercial grade zero-turn mowers, 65 horse power tractor with 15 foot batwing bush hog, and a tractor with hydraulic bucket.


Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of lead/supervisory experience. Experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance. Experience leading a ground crew. Understanding of construction/carpentry. Welding experience.
