Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some evenings, weekends, & holidays required


Job Summary: The Marketing Coordinator III oversees marketing, promotion, and publicity functions for a college, division, or the University under minimal supervision. Creates and implements marketing strategies using advertising, media, direct mail, etc. Coordinates production of materials specified in marketing plans and calendars. Consults with product and/or program development.


Additional Department Summary: Serves as primary point of contact for all Action Card marketing, communications, and special event planning. Enhances customer service and processes for the department and other areas through the use of secure and efficient card and transaction technology and monitors results to prevent any disruptive activity to cardholder daily operations. Researches new technology for services and products. Creates implementation plans, provides proof-of-concept, program analysis, communications and training, assessments, and process improvements as part of the management team. Manages department email, voicemail, website, and social media accounts. Oversees department participation in campus special events, including some night and weekend events. Works all home football events.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of marketing, public relations, communications, or advertising experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of marketing, public relations, communications, or advertising experience.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to work weekends and nights as needed for campus events and systems operations, including home football games, move-in weekend hours, back to school events, orientation, etc. Must be willing to travel for educational and training opportunities.

Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.


Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Customer Relations Management (CRM), social media, and website modifications.
