Job Summary: The Custodian performs routine manual work in housekeeping and cleaning of interior spaces and immediate exterior areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, polishes and dusts furniture, and cleans restrooms, windows, blinds, mirrors, etc. in buildings across campus.
Additional Department Summary: Provides housekeeping tasks for assigned areas within UREC Facilities. Cleans all interior spaces and immediate exterior areas of assigned UREC Facilities. Completes required training and promoting a safe, hospitable, and respectful workplace.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrated commitment to supporting all students.
Preferred Qualifications: High school degree or GED.
