Job Summary: The Academic Advisor I provides guidance to University students on academic progress, courses, University resources, etc. Identifies courses to be completed in upcoming semesters. Explains University and College policies. May teach compass course as needed.
Additional Department Summary: Works closely with a designated Department Head, Director of Graduate Student Success, and Program Coordinators to enhance graduate student advisement, recruitment, retention, and the overall graduate student experience in the College of Education. Recruits for M.A., Ed.S., and doctoral programs.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher.
