The Editor-In-Chief manages all acquisition and editorial functions of The University of Alabama Press. Assists University staff in understanding industry standards, current laws, and university policy as it relates to the financial affairs of the University. Provides guidance and trains entry-level Accounting Assistants.
IT Project Manager II - 527448
The IT Project Manager II serves as an Office of Information Technology (OIT) liaison/mentor for OIT operational managers and project teams on best practices for project management on both departmental and enterprise-wide IT projects. The University of Alabama is embarking on transitioning its on-premises finance and HCM ERP systems to a modern cloud platform. This position is time-limited to the duration of the project due to additional department staffing needs while engaged in this project, but could lead to a regular employment at the University.
Congressional Archival Specialist - 527208
The Congressional Archival Specialist performs rehousing of materials in various formats in line with professional best practices and department standards and digitize materials selected for web delivery in digital collections and digital exhibits. Performs public service duties related to the Richard C. Shelby collection, including reference and stacks maintenance for efficient retrieval. Generates usage statistics and other metrics for the Richard C. Shelby collection.
Park Maintenance Lead - 527415
The Park Maintenance Lead coordinates on-site maintenance staff, equipment, and supplies to ensure proper maintenance of the grounds and physical facilities located at University owned parks and physical facilities.
